Project Manager (Events & Programme Design)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager (Events & Programme Design) to lead KIC’s high‑profile European and international events, from policy conferences to dissemination summits. You will own the full programme lifecycle, shaping themes, selecting speakers, coordinating partners and suppliers, and managing budgets and venue logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and curate event programmes, defining thematic tracks and assembling expert speaker panels.
• Coordinate logistics, risk management and on‑site delivery for events of 100+ participants across Europe.
• Develop and control event budgets, negotiate with venues and suppliers, and ensure compliance with EU funding rules.
• Lead junior staff and external contractors, setting priorities and tracking progress.
• Identify and engage partners and sponsors, creating partnership proposals and securing agreements.
• Contribute to KIC’s broader events portfolio, aligning each event with strategic goals and policy networks.

Required profile

• Right to work in the EU (or an EU candidate country) and fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience leading at least two large‑scale events with more than 100 attendees, from concept to delivery.
