About the role

The Production Operator works on the IFF plant in Škofja vas pri Celju, handling the preparation, filling and packaging of food‑related products in a shift‑based environment. The role focuses on maintaining smooth production flow while adhering to strict safety, quality and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare products and semi‑finished goods according to work orders and perform filling into packaging.
• Operate basic production machines and equipment following technical instructions.
• Set up materials, tools and the work area to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Drive a forklift safely to transport materials around the plant.
• Execute routine production tasks in line with quality, safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic preparation of equipment, packaging and workspaces.
• Handle production documentation and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Participate in inter‑process controls and support product quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (V. level) in chemical, food, hospitality or a related field.
• Fluent spoken Slovene (B2/C1 level).
• Willingness to work in a production environment and follow established procedures.
• Precise, safe, responsible and reliable work habits.
• Understanding of safety, quality and hygiene importance.
• Ability to follow work instructions and operate within defined processes.
• Good teamwork attitude and readiness for shift and physical work.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
