Maintenance Technician II

About the role

IFF is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to ensure smooth operation of equipment in its Škofja vas plant. You will join a reliable, collaborative team focused on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance tasks on plant equipment and devices.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Participate in the design, improvement and preparation of machinery.
• Identify potential risks and implement timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production goals.
• Continuously upgrade technical knowledge and follow supervisor instructions for additional tasks.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Fluent English (minimum B1 level).
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for technical issues.
• Accurate, reliable and responsible work habits.
• Good teamwork and communication abilities.
• Capability to set priorities and work solution‑oriented.
