Distribution Controller MEA

About the role

As a Distribution Controller MEA, you will turn fragmented logistics and freight data into meaningful analytics that support operational and strategic decisions. Through accurate reporting, performance visibility and actionable recommendations, you will help optimise distribution performance, strengthen cost control and support service excellence across a regional supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reliable reporting, dashboards and performance analytics from complex logistics data to support Distribution and Supply Chain decisions across the MEA region.
• Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, data models and automated reporting by consolidating data from internal systems and external logistics providers.
• Analyse freight spending, transportation performance, service levels, distribution costs and operational KPIs to spot trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales and regional leadership to give data-driven recommendations.
• Reconcile inconsistent datasets, validate reporting accuracy and create standardised reporting structures.
• Support strategic logistics initiatives with business analysis across transportation modes, distribution channels and international markets.
• Drive reporting automation, process optimisation and business intelligence best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Logistics Analytics, Business Intelligence or Operations Analytics in an international environment.
• Strong analytical skills with fragmented, incomplete data sources.
• Good understanding of supply chain, transportation, freight operations, logistics cost drivers and distribution networks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills; fluent English.
