Transport Planner – International Logistics

About the role

As a Transport Planner you will plan, coordinate and optimise international transportation activities, ensuring shipments are executed efficiently from request through delivery while maintaining high service levels and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise transportation solutions balancing business requirements, service levels, cost and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end shipment execution with internal stakeholders, warehouses, hubs, ports and transport providers to achieve on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Monitor transport execution, track shipment milestones, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Manage transport costs by executing shipment costing and ensuring compliance with freight contracts and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, lane specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing performance and identifying opportunities for cost and service enhancements.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain or international operations (recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, customer‑focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across international teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP or other Transportation Management/ERP systems is an advantage.
