Transport Planner – International Logistics

About the role

As a Transport Planner you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and optimizing international transportation activities. You will ensure shipments are executed efficiently from request through delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to achieve high service levels, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimize transportation solutions by balancing business requirements, service levels, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end shipment execution with warehouses, hubs, ports, and transportation providers to ensure on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Monitor transport execution, track shipment milestones, identify delays, and implement proactive solutions.
• Manage transport costs, execute shipment costing, and ensure compliance with freight contracts and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, lane specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for seamless communication and high‑quality service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance and identifying opportunities for cost and service enhancements.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or international operations (recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
• Knowledge of transport planning, shipment coordination, and freight operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, customer‑focused, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across international teams.
• Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP or other Transportation Management/ERP systems is a plus.
