Student Laboratory Technician – Hands‑on Engineering Experience

About the role

Are you a technical student who enjoys hands‑on work and seeing how things work in practice? Join our laboratory team in Kamnik and gain practical experience working with plate heat exchangers in a real engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble plate heat exchangers, gaining hands‑on experience with real industrial products.
• Conduct thermodynamic measurements and laboratory tests according to established procedures.
• Prepare, process and organize measurement data to support accurate analysis and reporting.
• Work closely with engineers and laboratory specialists, supporting ongoing testing and development activities.
• Help maintain a precise, reliable and well‑organized laboratory environment, following established procedures and safety requirements.

Required profile

• You are a student, preferably with a background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• You have good manual skills and technical aptitude and enjoy working with equipment and physical products.
• You are precise and detail‑oriented, especially when working with measurements and technical data.
• You are reliable, responsible and willing to learn, with a hands‑on approach to your work.
• You are curious about engineering, thermodynamics and laboratory testing and are comfortable learning new procedures and tools.
