Senior Engineer, Mechanical Design - Brazed Heat Exchangers

About the role

This role contributes to the development of brazed heat exchanger solutions by turning customer needs and application challenges into practical product designs. Working with colleagues across R&D, manufacturing, quality and product management, you support products from concept through testing and release, combining hands-on engineering with collaboration across global teams and a close link to local production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve mechanical design solutions for brazed heat exchangers, from early concept through released design
• Translate customer and application requirements into designs that balance performance, quality, manufacturability and cost
• Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, BOMs, specifications and technical documentation
• Support design reviews, prototypes, product changes and manufacturing improvements with local NPD and production teams and global stakeholders
• Investigate product or application issues, perform root-cause analysis and help implement corrective actions
• Contribute to design-for-manufacturing, prototype testing and product performance, reliability and sustainability improvements

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Experience developing mechanical products from concept through design release
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, tolerancing and materials
• Fluent English and Slovenian

Required skills

• 3D CAD and product data management systems, preferably Creo and NX
• Preferred: heat exchanger technologies, sheet metal forming, tooling, rapid prototyping, APQP and DFMEA
