Senior Solution Architect - Grid & Analytics Platforms

About the role

A company is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Solution Architect / Delivery Lead to deliver advanced grid digital solutions to customers. The role combines technical architecture, customer-facing delivery and system integration, and suits someone who works across business and engineering domains. It is based in Kranj.

Key responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration and deployment of software solutions
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, guiding solution design and usage
• Design and propose solution architectures tailored to customer needs
• Drive integration with external systems such as SCADA, EMS/DMS and enterprise platforms
• Ensure collaboration between customers, product teams and engineering
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions
• Support troubleshooting, optimization and continuous improvement of deployed systems

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution delivery, system integration or software architecture
• Strong background in data-centric or distributed systems
• Experience working with customers in a technical role (consulting, delivery or implementation)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Comfortable working in an international environment

Required skills

• End-to-end architecture design for complex systems
• Integration patterns and APIs
• Data processing: time-series and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of energy or utility systems is an advantage
