Lead Firmware Development Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Iskraemeco is looking for a Lead Firmware Development Engineer to take a key role in creating advanced smart metering solutions. The position suits someone who enjoys innovation, cutting-edge technology and global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement embedded software for high-tech products
• Test, analyse and debug
• Define the scope of studies and carry them out
• Prepare decision-support documentation
• Communicate with key customers and provide technical support to sales
• Give technical consulting on customer projects and improve application know-how
• Lead problem-solving tasks related to quality issues, in special cases
• Maintain the innovation process by implementing external and internal ideas and manage technology

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering (Level VI/2)
• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar field
• Active knowledge of English
• Self-initiated, proactive and innovative

Required skills

• C programming for RTOS environments
• Python
• Debugging of embedded systems
