Laboratory Scientist - Precision Oncology

About the role

EndoVia Therapeutics is a precision oncology company that uses systems biology models to predict how individual tumors respond to therapy, working at the interface of translational research and therapeutics. It is hiring a Laboratory Scientist to work on-site in the Maribor Metropolitan Area in a full-time capacity, supporting experimental studies that inform precision oncology research and drug development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, perform and document laboratory experiments with patient-derived samples or cell models
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure accurate collection and analysis of data
• Contribute to quality control procedures and adhere to laboratory safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with colleagues in biology, data science and clinical research
• Assist in optimizing laboratory workflows and preparing reagents and samples
• Take part in interpreting and communicating experimental findings

Required profile

• PhD in biomedical sciences, biology, biochemistry or a related field
• Experience in oncology, molecular biology or translational research is highly beneficial
• Ability to follow standardized protocols, keep detailed records and work safely in a regulated laboratory
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
