HR Manager – Tolmin

About the role

The HR Manager plays a central role in shaping and executing the people strategy for the Tolmin facility, reporting to the EU HRBP. The role drives workforce planning, talent management and organizational development, champions inclusion and employee engagement, ensures compliance with local labour regulations and supports change management and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic workforce planning, including annual and long-term planning, and recruitment for open positions
• Support reorganizations and restructuring, performance management and talent development processes
• Collaborate with Finance on compensation, benefits, bonuses and salary increases
• Oversee local labour regulations and act as main contact for the Trade Union
• Prepare HR reports, onboarding and training plans, and employee and labour law documents
• Succession planning, talent reviews, health and safety KPIs and sharing best practices across the region
• Drive change management, DEI initiatives and community outreach with local partners

Required profile

• University degree in Humanities, Psychology, Human Resources or a related field
• Solid HR background across recruitment, talent management, employee relations and compensation and benefits
• International exposure highly desirable; matrix or multinational HR experience an advantage
• Fluent Slovene and English; Italian at A2 or willingness to learn is desirable
