P&C Business Partner

About the role

IKEA South East Europe is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join its People & Culture department. The role acts as a trusted advisor to line managers, helping them implement business and people plans and supporting inclusive talent management and leadership development. The contract is for an unlimited period with a 6-month probation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to line managers in implementing business and people plans within the unit, ensuring operational goals are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure people processes are implemented consistently and to deliver an excellent employee experience.
• Partner with line managers to enable inclusive talent management and the continuous development of local leadership capabilities.
• Work with business leaders on people-related matters linked to transformation, acting as an ambassador for standardization and change.
• Guard the IKEA culture and values, act as the voice of employees and deliver the best possible employee experience end to end.
• Perform other duties that reasonably fall within the scope of the position or are assigned by management.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR Business Partnering or a similar People & Culture role.
• University degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience driving change, transformation and organizational development initiatives.
• Solid understanding of talent management and employee lifecycle processes.
• Ability to influence, challenge and support managers equally, with collaborative, proactive and business-minded approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Slovenian, able to connect with people at all levels.
