Key Account Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive Lighting

About the role

A permanent Key Account Manager position for an OEM customer in the automotive supplier industry, based in Slovenia. The role acts as the primary point of contact for the customer and covers product and pricing strategy, sales planning and the full commercial handling of customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for OEM customers and develop, implement and run product and pricing strategies
• Present complex systems and product solutions to customers and at trade shows, domestically and internationally
• Process inquiries for new projects and changes, and prepare market and competitive analyses
• Prepare, execute and monitor sales and budget planning, and report regularly
• Ensure timely and professional handling of orders, order placement and recovery of advanced payments
• Forward customer requirements to the Human Resources department for training purposes

Required profile

• University degree
• Extensive professional experience in sales within the automotive supplier industry
• Knowledge of automotive lighting products, the automotive market and production methods and processes
• Experience in sales and crisis negotiations, and strong understanding of customer requirements
• Slovenian and English

Required skills

• MS Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of an ERP system
• Knowledge of automotive standards IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
