Business Development Expert - Ironmaking & Reheating Furnaces

About the role

RHI Magnesita is looking for a Business Development Expert for its Ironmaking and Reheating Furnace segments, a hybrid full-time position open to candidates at RHI Magnesita locations across Europe, South America and India. You will drive global business growth, coordinate the development and expansion of market opportunities, strengthen relationships with OEMs, key customers and regional sales organizations, and travel internationally about 40% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned OEM, EPC and customer projects in line with the global account and portfolio strategy
• Drive the complete Lead-to-Cash process, from opportunity qualification to commercial negotiations
• Analyze markets and customer investment plans to identify new business opportunities
• Gather and share market intelligence and customer feedback to refine solutions and strategies
• Provide technical support to regional sales organizations in ironmaking and reheating furnace applications

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Business or a similar technical/commercial qualification
• Several years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management or Technical Project Management in ironmaking, steel, refractory, ceramics or related industries
• Fluent English
• Nice to have: experience in direct reduction plants (DRP) or sound knowledge of direct reduction technology, and user experience in SA
