About the role

PwC is looking for a motivated beginner to join its accounting advisory team in Ljubljana. You will work within an international group of experts, supporting audit and assurance activities while gaining exposure to banking and regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with administrative procedures linked to project activities.
• Analyse client transactions and other relevant circumstances to identify patterns, risks or irregularities.
• Prepare concise written summaries of performed checks, highlighting key findings and conclusions.
• Support back‑office processes in a banking context, including data maintenance, validation and structured processing.
• Collaborate with internal departments in German to resolve operational questions and ensure smooth process flow.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate of a higher‑education programme.
• Very good command of German (minimum C1) and good English proficiency.
• Interest in the banking sector and regulatory requirements.
• Structured, precise and analytical work style with a strong affinity for data handling.
• Team‑player attitude, reliability and responsibility.
