Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

MeetMinded is a fast‑growing startup that connects people through local meetups worldwide. As a Financial Planning Analyst you will work directly with the leadership team to build the financial systems that support rapid international scaling. You will turn data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses, reports and KPI reviews for leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Track revenue, costs, profitability and cash‑flow across markets and channels.
• Analyze profitability by product, market and sales channel.
• Build and improve financial models, dashboards and reporting systems.
• Automate financial processes and workflows.
• Provide data‑driven insights for strategic projects and business decisions.
• Collaborate with accounting during monthly close and financial reporting.
• Analyse data from Stripe, marketing platforms and other business systems.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analyses for leadership as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, controlling or business analytics.
• Strong analytical, structured thinking and high attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills and high ownership.
• Motivation to learn quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Business‑intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Stripe or similar payment platforms.
• Experience with ERP systems or advanced financial reporting tools.
