Test Engineer for Electronic Components

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to lead incoming inspection and testing of electronic components. The role combines hands‑on laboratory work, test specification development, and close collaboration with development, quality, purchasing, production, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, validate and maintain test procedures for electronic components.
• Define test requirements from functional, technical and quality specifications.
• Execute tests, generate technical reports and support incoming inspection of new and alternative parts.
• Assist with MP approval, part approval and change management in the PLM environment.
• Contribute to quality analyses, root‑cause analysis (RCA), 8D reports and supplier development.
• Develop and improve LabVIEW‑based test solutions where applicable.
• Monitor test method effectiveness, reliability and repeatability.

Required profile

• Knowledge of electronic components, circuits and their characteristics.
• Understanding of testing and validation methods for electronic products.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies and climatic chambers.
• Ability to prepare test plans, procedures, technical reports and laboratory documentation.
• Willingness to learn LabVIEW programming and PLM ARAS approval processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools (8D, RCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, 5S) and active English proficiency.
• Completed technical education (level VI/2) or comparable work experience.
