Head of Project Management (Europe)

About the role

Iskraemeco is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to lead its European operations. The successful candidate will head a team of Project Managers and Professional Services Specialists, ensuring the delivery of projects and services across European markets while driving project execution excellence, customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate company strategy and business objectives into team objectives, resource plans and measurable KPIs, and prepare plans and strategies within the area of responsibility.
• Manage procedures for planning and delivering bid projects, from tender compliance to handover to the delivery team.
• Ensure projects meet contractual commitments on scope, timeline, budget, quality and profitability.
• Manage the customer service department and follow up on open issues in line with agreed SLAs, aligning customer expectations with company capacity.
• Manage partnership agreements involving external components, and maintain lessons learned, reusable content, reference projects and approved tender documentation.
• Monitor and optimise the costs of the organisational unit, manage the delivery and services portfolio, and manage resources during solution preparation, design and testing.
• Identify opportunities for further business growth.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a technical field or natural science.
• At least 5 years in a similar leadership role, with a minimum of 8 years of overall project management experience.
• Nice to have: a project management certificate, proven experience with large-scale projects in communications, electronics, technical industries or utilities and energy distribution, and a background in bid management and project delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written English, great team-management skills, and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
