Slovenian Transcription Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Listen to recordings and convert spoken language into clean, well-formatted transcripts.
• Apply project-specific guidelines such as timestamps, speaker identification and formatting rules.
• Verify spelling, grammar and punctuation, keeping consistency with Slovenian language standards.
• Perform quality checks before submission.
• Work through the platform, follow deadlines and productivity targets, and take part in projects such as AI training datasets, localization support and multilingual quality assurance.

Required profile

• Strong Slovenian language skills, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation and comprehension.
• Ability to follow style guides, project instructions and confidentiality requirements reliably.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently in a remote, full-time setting.
• Secondary education or higher; language, translation or communication studies are a plus.
• Prior experience in transcription, localization, linguistics or related fields is preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in transcription practices: accurate typing, attention to detail, timestamps and speaker tagging.
• Comfort using digital tools for audio/video playback, text editing and online collaboration.
• Familiarity with AI data services or language technology tools is an advantage.
