Showroom Salesperson – Building Joinery & Flooring

About the role

The Salesperson will work full‑time on‑site in Ptuj, welcoming customers in the showroom and advising them on building joinery, interior doors and flooring solutions. The role combines customer interaction, offer preparation and coordination of delivery and installation to ensure a smooth buying experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and advise showroom visitors, presenting the company’s product range.
• Prepare offers, process orders and coordinate delivery and installation schedules.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and CRM.
• Communicate regularly with customers, installers and suppliers to ensure project execution.
• Support sales campaigns, help keep the showroom tidy and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and consultative sales skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to explain technical product features.
• Basic technical understanding of joinery, doors and flooring or willingness to learn.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple offers and timelines.
• Computer literacy, including office software and data entry into CRM.
• Previous retail or B2C sales experience (especially in construction materials) is an advantage.
• Secondary school diploma or higher education in commerce or related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ptuj and communicate in Slovenian (additional languages a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM systems for data entry and order tracking.
