Service Advisor

About the role

The Service Advisor ensures smooth daily operations at the service reception, guiding customers from their initial inquiry through to invoicing and follow‑up. This role supports workshop efficiency and builds long‑term, profitable relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate workshop appointments to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
• Welcome customers, understand their service needs and act as the primary contact throughout the visit.
• Prepare and manage work orders, schedule repairs and allocate workshop resources.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, provide updates, recommend additional repairs or parts and ensure transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and external suppliers to guarantee timely, high‑quality service delivery.
• Hand over completed vehicles, explain the work performed and confirm customer satisfaction.
• Close work orders, prepare invoices and complete related documentation.
• Support after‑sales administration, including warranty, guarantee payments, reporting and record‑keeping.
• Proactively contact customers for service campaigns, maintenance reminders and future workshop visits to aid retention.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with strong communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented to ensure accurate work orders, invoicing and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate workshop activities and liaise with technicians and suppliers.
• Proactive attitude towards customer follow‑up and service campaigns.
