Senior IT Project Manager

About the role

A company looking to transform public transportation with technology is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager based in Slovenia, working from its Ljubljana office at least three days a week. The role owns projects end-to-end, from scoping to handover, keeping them on time, on budget and aligned with customer needs, while supporting pre-sales and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery, keeping schedules realistic, teams aligned and customers informed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Define project scope, manage risks and monitor the budget
• Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Hardware, Installation and Procurement teams
• Lead project meetings, maintain documentation and report progress clearly
• Negotiate change requests and push back on unrealistic deadlines or scope creep
• Support pre-sales by providing scheduling input based on resource availability

Required profile

• Solid experience in IT project management, ideally in a tech product or systems integration environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to manage expectations at all levels
• Structured, hands-on approach to planning and problem-solving
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Familiarity with hardware/software solution delivery is a plus
