Sales Manager - Ticketing Solutions

About the role

As Sales Manager you will lead the expansion of Enghouse Transportation’s ticketing solutions across Southeast Europe, starting with Slovenia. The role is proactive, engaging prospects before formal tenders are issued to secure early‑stage advantages. You will combine client visits with strategic planning to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development and sales strategies across Slovenia and Southeast Europe.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within public transport, mobility, smart‑city, payments, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers in government bodies, municipalities, transport authorities and strategic partners.
• Lead complex sales opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, solution positioning, proposal development, contract negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with product management, project delivery and internal teams to align customer needs with solution development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and business development experience with a proven track record of winning complex enterprise and public‑sector opportunities.
• Strong understanding of public procurement, tender‑driven sales processes and experience managing long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers in government, municipalities and public transport operators.
• Fluent in Slovenian and English; knowledge of Croatian or Serbian is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
• Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology.
