Sales Engineer – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

Otis is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join its team in Trzin, Slovenia. The role focuses on developing elevator and escalator projects, preparing offers, and driving sales in the regional real‑estate market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, configurations and quotations based on received inquiries within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of offers, monitor their status and actively participate in tenders.
• Research the regional real‑estate market to generate new project opportunities for elevators, escalators and moving walks.
• Develop sales strategies together with the sales department and management.
• Present technical solutions, advise customers on optimal equipment and collaborate with investors, architects and project managers.
• Manage contracts and documentation from initiation to completion while supporting existing customers.
• Coordinate with the operational team responsible for equipment installation and report performance metrics weekly, monthly and annually.

Required profile

• Secondary, higher or university education in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Driving licence category B.
• Motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
