Business Development Manager – Red Hat (Trzin, Slovenia)

About the role

Ingram Micro is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on Red Hat solutions in Trzin, Slovenia. You will drive growth by building strong partnerships, uncovering new market opportunities and translating global strategies into local success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Red Hat partners, vendors and internal teams.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Design and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing and finance to deliver integrated solutions.
• Use data, insights and market analysis to guide decision‑making and forecast performance.
• Manage profit‑and‑loss responsibilities, including margin and forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of strategic sales or business development experience in technology, distribution or related sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high‑school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of year‑over‑year profitability growth.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience closing complex, solution‑based deals.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work closely with engineering experts.
• Excellent presentation skills for executive and technical audiences.
