Category Manager – McDonald's Food Service (Europe)

About the role

AGRANA Fruit Embi d.o.o. seeks an experienced Category Manager to lead the McDonald’s Food Service portfolio across 17 European markets. Based in Logatec, Slovenia, the role combines strategic planning, product innovation and cross‑regional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the McDonald’s product portfolio for Europe, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market needs.
• Develop and implement innovation projects that drive growth and profitability.
• Create and execute strategies to expand the category and improve margins.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production and Sales teams to bring new products to market.
• Lead international projects and oversee successful new‑product launches.
• Act as the global point of contact for McDonald’s, coordinating activities across EMEA, USA and APAC regions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Category Management, Product Management or Key Account Development.
• Experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or the international food industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities in English.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a proven track record of leading projects in matrix organisations.
