Quality control specialist - Particles (d/f/m)

About the role

Sandoz is expanding its Bio Injectable manufacturing unit in Brnik, Slovenia, and seeks a Quality Control Specialist focused on particles. You will perform independent analytical work to ensure regulatory compliance and high product quality, while contributing to knowledge transfer within the laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare analytical documentation for testing, characterization, and identification of visible, sub‑visible, and microscopic particles.
• Prepare and review documentation for procurement, qualification, and implementation of analytical instruments such as FT‑IR microscopy and Raman/Libs spectrometry systems.
• Participate in establishing and maintaining a spectral library for foreign particle identification, including data collection, analysis, and validation.

Required profile

• University degree in pharmacy, veterinary medicine, chemistry, microbiology or another natural science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality, development, manufacturing or a related field.
• Functional knowledge of English.
• Familiarity with GMP environment is desired.

• Permanent contract with a 6‑month probation period
• Salary range: €30,960 – €46,440 gross per year (placement depends on experience and expertise)
