.NET Software Developer – Descartes ShipRush

About the role

Descartes is strengthening its R&D team in Šenčur, Slovenia, and is looking for a .NET Software Developer to help deliver solutions for its customers. You will join a team of 16 engineers working on Descartes ShipRush, multi-carrier shipping software, built mainly on ASP.NET with JavaScript and C# on the backend, Redis, MSSQL and Elasticsearch, and deployed on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and ship features that improve the ShipRush software and the SaaS platform for ecommerce sellers
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Collaborate with engineers across time zones and participate in code reviews
• Help maintain a strong culture of testing and continuous improvement
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction
• Create, revise and maintain design and technical documents
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with MS-SQL.NET (C#, REST API, ASP.NET)
• Experience with the React framework
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional environment
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, creating and consuming web services, and multi-tenant SaaS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong oral and written communication in Slovenian and English
