Managing Director – Slovenia (Investment Goods)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the Sales and After‑Sales organisation for a leading investment‑goods company in Slovenia. The role combines full profit‑and‑loss responsibility with strategic and operational leadership across the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full P&L, defining sales strategy and ensuring its execution.
• Directly manage and develop the local sales and service teams.
• Acquire and support key customers, expanding the market footprint.
• Optimise commercial and service structures for efficiency and growth.
• Coordinate activities with group headquarters and international manufacturing partners.
• Oversee receivables, enforce financial discipline and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial or general‑management experience in the investment‑goods sector (e.g., construction equipment, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery).
• Strong network within the Slovenian construction industry.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Results‑driven leadership style with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
