Landside Operations Specialist

About the role

Maersk, a global logistics company, is looking for a Landside Operations Specialist to support its growing customer portfolio. The role is full-time and on site, based in Rijeka (Croatia), Budapest (Hungary), Bratislava (Slovakia) or Koper/Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate transport and logistics activities for customers.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely execution across the supply chain.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, giving updates and resolving operational queries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver results for customers.
• Handle shipping documentation and keep data accurate in operational systems.
• Identify and resolve shipment disruptions proactively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and build strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Studies in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation or customer service; related work experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and the local language, written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with a customer-centric mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
