Customer Support Specialist – Order Processing

About the role

IFF, a global leader in aromas, scents, food ingredients and health and wellness, is hiring a Customer Support Specialist in Markovci, Slovenia. You will join an experienced, accurate and collaborative team within Global Operations, supporting orders, logistics and communication with international customers so that orders flow smoothly and customers get a good experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders and provide timely, accurate administrative support to customer support processes
• Prepare sales and shipping documents and carry out customs procedures
• Organise shipments with agreed logistics partners and coordinate with production, quality control, procurement and warehousing
• Order and send samples, keep records of them and monitor stock availability
• Keep records and documentation up to date and accurate, and cover for colleagues when needed
• Use resources efficiently and help improve processes

Required profile

• At least secondary education in economics, commerce or a related field
• Active English at least at B2 level
• Precise, responsible and quality-focused, able to organise several tasks at once
• Team player who enjoys working across departments and solving customer problems
• Ability to organise your own work and set priorities

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook
• Nice to have: experience in customer support, order processing or logistics, customs documentation, international transport, ERP systems or other business information systems
