Junior/Senior Medical Sales Representative – Austria

About the role

GenePlanet, a global leader in preventive genetic testing, is seeking a motivated Medical Sales Representative to expand its network of clinics, doctors and laboratories in Austria. You will work from our headquarters in Ljubljana while spending several days each week visiting partners on the field.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow a sales network of medical centres, gynecologists, oncologists and laboratories to promote GenePlanet’s genetic testing portfolio (NIPT, cancer screening, lifestyle DNA tests).
• Implement product promotional activities and conduct training sessions for external partners.
• Execute annual sales plans, meet defined targets and report progress.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team at headquarters.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Fluent German with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Passion for field work and willingness to travel up to 70,000 km per year.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Valid driving licence.
• Open to candidates without prior sales or medical background, provided they have strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
