IT/OT Support Specialist (Onsite, Lendava, Slovenian/English)

About the role

D-ploy is an IT and engineering solutions company operating across the EMEA region and the USA, serving industry-leading clients. It is looking for an onsite IT/OT support specialist in Lendava who speaks Slovenian and English, providing hands-on support for global IT teams and field service.

Key responsibilities

• Onsite IT/OT support, including break/fix for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds and lab equipment
• Local hands-and-feet support for global IT teams
• Troubleshooting automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks)
• Support for software upgrades, patching and backups in lab/OT environments
• Incident, problem and change management (ITIL-based)
• Compliance with CSV, GxP and data integrity procedures
• Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of IT/OT support experience in regulated environments
• Fluency in Slovenian and English, written and spoken
• Availability for onsite work and a 24/7 on-call rotation
• Candidate must declare a criminal record no older than 3 months

Required skills

• Industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC and lab software
• Networking (VLAN, firewall, routing)
• ITIL processes and ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing
• Database troubleshooting and MSSQL
