Head of Finance and Operations

About the role

MeetMinded is a fast-growing global startup that helps people meet new friends through real-life events, and it is now in a phase of rapid global scaling. It is looking for a Head of Finance and Operations to take ownership of the financial and operational backbone of the company and turn it into a scalable system supporting that growth. This is a core leadership role, not a support position.

Key responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, including modelling for growth decisions
• Monthly financial reporting and close, cash flow and runway visibility
• Coordination with accountants, tax advisors and legal partners
• Financial support for international expansion
• Improving internal company processes and building scalable operational workflows
• Ensuring smooth financial and operational execution and creating structure in a fast-moving environment

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in finance, consulting, operations or similar roles
• Ability to operate both hands-on and strategically, with strong ownership
• Fluent Slovenian and English; comfortable with hybrid work from the Ljubljana office
• Startup experience is a big plus; previous international operations exposure is also a plus

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and reporting
