Senior Consultant - Corporate Income Tax

About the role

As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver high-quality corporate tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work on corporate income tax matters, supporting clients through their tax filings, audits and due diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Draft client deliverables such as reports and emails based on the technical position of tax laws and rules and client information
• Prepare corporate income tax calculations or review tax computations prepared by clients
• Prepare submissions to tax authorities, including tax returns, requests, comments and appeals
• Support clients during tax audits and assist with tax authority proceedings
• Carry out complex research and suggest technical solutions to team members
• Take part in tax due diligence projects, analysing information and preparing due diligence reports
• Apply practical knowledge of local and global tools and methodology in client engagements and maintain strong client relationships

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Corporate Law or Tax Law, or a related field
• 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in taxation
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership of tasks, excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Preferred: previous experience in a tax advisory or professional services environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Detailed knowledge of tax principles and rules of your own jurisdiction, and awareness of rules in other key jurisdictions
