About the role

PwC Slovenia is looking for a junior actuary to join its actuarial services team. You will work with insurance and re‑insurance clients, helping them meet regulatory requirements and improve risk management through statistical modelling and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audits of insurance and re‑insurance companies.
• Support the preparation of Solvency II reports on solvency and financial position.
• Provide advisory services on IFRS 17 implementation.
• Help with reserving for anniversary bonuses and severance payments.
• Contribute to other actuarial projects and the development of actuarial models.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and good command of Excel.
• Fluent in Slovenian and English with clear communication skills.
• German language knowledge is a plus.
• Flexible, open‑minded and enjoys teamwork.
