Accountant – International Finance Team

About the role

Join Sportradar’s finance department as an Accountant supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations for our international business. You will work closely with the accounting team lead and gain exposure to monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support timely monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial close.
• Maintain reconciliations for banks, creditors/debtors, pre‑payments, accruals, fixed assets and control accounts.
• Produce financial reports and assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end tasks.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments on ad‑hoc projects.
• Execute financial control functions in line with internal policies.
• Provide documentation and information for audit activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international company or Big 4 environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent analytical abilities.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software (a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
