Accountant – Finance Team (Ljubljana)

About the role

As an Accountant at bunny.net you will join a small, high‑performing Finance team supporting the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for month‑end close, accounts receivable, and the UK entity, ensuring the books are accurate, compliant and audit‑ready while working in a fast‑growing global SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to month‑end close, improving speed and accuracy.
• Own end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable: maintain records, manage aging, apply credits, and handle collections.
• Support the UK entity with payroll reviews and VAT returns.
• Keep financial data clean, reconciled and ready for audits at any time.
• Process high‑volume payments across multiple gateways, banks and currencies.
• Assist with AP and payroll journals, including international payroll setups.
• Respond to audit queries and coordinate with the German entity accountant and Slovenian partners.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable improvements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high‑transaction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience handling multi‑entity accounting, VAT, and payroll.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on process optimisation.
