AI Deploy Engineer

About the role

Sunrise Robotics builds intelligent, flexible robots for manufacturing. As an AI Deploy Engineer you will bridge development and deployment, delivering AI vision and robotics applications to real production lines and ensuring they run 24/7 on customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy end‑to‑end AI vision and robotics applications on real‑world and simulated robotic systems.
• Own technical delivery from application design through deployment and iterative improvement.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues in deployed AI and robotics applications.
• Configure logging, observability, and alerting to track application health in the field.
• Monitor and re‑train algorithms in production, perform A/B testing and redeploy with confidence.
• Generate and curate data to continuously improve models and applications.

Required profile

• Strong background in 2D/3D computer vision and deep learning with at least 2 years of production‑grade experience.
• Proficient Python developer with hands‑on experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow and OpenCV.
• Experience training and deploying AI models, familiar with MLOps practices and Docker.
• Hands‑on experience with ROS or ROS2 and industrial imaging hardware (cameras, 3D or stereo systems).
• Ability to break down complex problems into structured solutions and communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Comfortable working with international, cross‑functional teams and willing to travel regularly.
