About the role

We are seeking a creative and talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective, boundless creativity, and technical expertise to the table. This individual will play an integral role in our post‑production process, turning raw footage into polished and compelling narratives that captivate our audience and meet our clients' objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with our creative team from Serbia to edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product suitable for TV broadcasting.
• Review shooting script and raw material to make creative video editing decisions based on the scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
• Podcast editing.
• Editing commercial videos.
• Editing videos for social media.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Color correcting and color grading.
• Occasional filming and photography on set or on location, including independent handling of basic camera equipment.
• Consult about the idea and post‑production process to ensure alignment with the desired output.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow and adhere to all editing schedules and deadlines.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven work experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing.
• Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
• Fluent Slovenian (native or C1 level) and English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Valid right to work in Slovenia and based within commuting distance of Ljubljana.
• Excellent storytelling, visual aesthetics, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and quality.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
