Transport Planner – International Logistics

About the role

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and optimizing international transportation activities for Goodyear. You will ensure shipments move efficiently from request to delivery while maintaining high service levels, cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise transportation solutions balancing business requirements, service levels, cost and efficiency.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end shipment execution with internal stakeholders, warehouses, hubs, ports and transport providers to achieve on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Monitor transport execution, track shipment milestones, identify delays and proactively implement corrective actions.
• Manage transport costs by executing shipment costing and ensuring compliance with freight contracts and internal policies.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, lane specifications, regulatory and company requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for seamless communication and high‑quality service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing performance data and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain or international operations; recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
• Knowledge of transport planning, shipment coordination and freight operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, customer‑focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across international teams.
