Technical Program Manager (SRE)

About the role

Plume, a SaaS platform for smart homes and connected spaces, is hiring a full-time Technical Program Manager for its SRE organization. The role covers infrastructure, data platforms, observability and CI/CD, acting as the connective tissue between engineering teams so that the right things get built, shipped and measured. The position is hybrid, with three days a week in the Ljubljana, Slovenia office.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning, tracking and delivery of programs with the Director of SRE and regional SRE managers, and run standups, reviews and retrospectives
• Manage the roadmap of Plume's global infrastructure, data platform, observability stack and CI/CD initiatives, working with SRE team leads and TPMs to align quarterly plans
• Solicit feedback from peers and engineering organizations to drive improvement
• Track and accelerate CI/CD improvements, champion automation across the SDLC, and measure pipeline health, lead time and deployment frequency
• Coordinate across engineering, product, SRE and leadership stakeholders, communicate program status to technical and non-technical audiences, and foster accountability and transparency

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical program management experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs
• Proven end-to-end Agile delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Excellent written and verbal English, able to adapt messaging for executives and staff engineers
• Bonus points: SaaS, networking or connected devices experience, familiarity with agile and scaled agile frameworks, background with globally distributed teams, hands-on SRE initiative management

Required skills

• Deep Jira expertise: project configuration, custom workflows, dashboards and advanced JQL querying, using velocity trends, cycle time and sprint burndown to spot risks like scope creep
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
