Technical Consultant – IBM Software Solutions

About the role

TD SYNNEX is looking for a skilled Technical Presales Specialist to drive the growth of IBM software solutions in Slovenia. You will act as the technical expert for partners and customers, translating business needs into well‑designed solutions and supporting the adoption of IBM technologies across the partner ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to technical expert for IBM software within the TD SYNNEX partner landscape.
• Assist partners in designing solutions, creating Bills of Materials, and outlining technical architectures.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and enablement sessions to partners and customers.
• Join partner and customer meetings to provide technical guidance throughout the presales cycle.
• Identify customer pain points and translate them into IBM Software use cases and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Maintain strong technical relationships with IBM’s local and regional teams to stay aligned on updates, licensing, and programs.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in IBM software, cloud, data, or technical presales roles.
• Familiarity with IBM Software concepts and awareness of competitive ecosystems.
• Fluent in Slovenian and English.
• Proactive, structured and organised mindset with the ability to manage multiple requests.
• Experience in vendor, distributor, partner or integrator environments is a plus.
