Technical Buyer – Electronics

About the role

Flux Performance builds electric motorcycles that push the limits of technology and sustainability. The company is seeking a Technical Buyer – Electronics to lead strategic sourcing of the electronic components that power its motorcycles, acting as the bridge between engineering and the global electronics market.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic sourcing of electronic components, securing reliable, long‑term supply partnerships across manufacturers and distributors.
• Monitor semiconductor market trends and supply‑demand shifts to anticipate shortages and price changes.
• Review technical designs and bills of materials to propose alternative parts that improve lead time, cost or availability.
• Manage RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, negotiate purchase agreements and pricing.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and conduct total cost of ownership analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in electronic components and assemblies.
• Electronics Engineering degree or technical degree combined with relevant manufacturing/sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge of major semiconductor manufacturers and distribution networks.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs to identify sourcing and cost opportunities.
• Previous experience in motorcycle or automotive development is a plus.
