About the role
The Non‑Key Expert will support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems, as well as satellite connectivity. The role focuses on developing and promoting space‑based applications across Africa within the AESPP Boost project.
Key responsibilities
- Support satellite‑navigation and GNSS augmentation initiatives, including Galileo, EGNOS and IRIS².
- Facilitate the development and uptake of satellite connectivity and broadband applications for aviation, maritime and other sectors in Africa.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications or satellite connectivity, with at least 4 years on GNSS/SBAS applications.
Required skills
- GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems)
- SBAS (Satellite‑Based Augmentation Systems)
- Knowledge of Galileo, EGNOS and IRIS²
