Sourcing Project Manager

About the role

Danfoss is seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to join its Procurement team, driving sourcing and supplier management for new product development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for new product development, focusing on electronics and other materials such as plastics, packaging, and accessories.
• Prepare, issue, and manage RFQs, analyse supplier quotations, and conduct commercial negotiations.
• Act as the procurement representative within cross‑functional project teams, ensuring timely supplier involvement throughout the development cycle.
• Achieve project targets related to cost, quality, lead time, manufacturability, and supplier readiness.
• Support the transition of new product development projects into serial production.
• Maintain purchasing data in the ERP system for new material codes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Background in the electronics industry or related components.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical, proactive and results‑oriented mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic procurement environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
