Senior Expert Science & Technology - Bioanalytics

About the role

The Bioanalytics laboratory within Technical Research & Development Biologics is looking for a Senior Expert to join multidisciplinary project teams and drive bioanalytical strategies for advanced biologic therapies. You will lead bioanalytical activities in development projects, design and interpret complex studies, ensure high-quality documentation and work in a digital-first environment where data, automation and AI accelerate drug development.

Key responsibilities

• Set up bioanalytical strategies based on knowledge of therapeutic protein mechanisms and scientific literature.
• Develop, qualify and validate bioanalytical methods, supervise experiments, mentor lab staff and oversee assigned projects.
• Review and interpret data, and prepare protocols, scientific reports and regulatory documentation.
• Solve scientific challenges, communicate clearly and lead the transfer of knowledge to other departments or external partners.
• Identify and implement digital solutions, including AI for document review, reporting automation, data applications and integration of laboratory and data systems.
• Collaborate proactively with local and global teams.

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in a life science field (cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related).
• At least 4 years of experience with mammalian cell cultures and immunoassays, preferably in industry.
• Excellent scientific and technical writing and project management skills.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Digital literacy and experience with laboratory automation and AI for scientific documentation.
• Preferred: basic programming (Python, R, VBA, Copilot Studio), statistical methods, GxP knowledge.
