Senior Analyst Master Data Management EM

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Analyst to own and improve commercial master data for Emerging Markets Surgery. The role ensures data is accurate, complete, governed, and ready for business use, supporting the delivery of surgical technologies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial master data across customers, contacts, accounts, territories, sales hierarchies, product groupings and related domains.
• Validate data creation and change requests for accuracy, completeness, approval, compliance and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate bulk uploads and mass changes, including pre‑load validation, post‑load reconciliation, issue resolution and audit‑trail maintenance.
• Monitor and improve data quality dimensions such as completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, validity and timeliness.
• Resolve duplicates, ownership conflicts, inactive records, missing attributes and other data exceptions.
• Investigate recurring data issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions with process, data and system owners.
• Maintain data governance controls, including ownership, decision rights and approval requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commercial master data in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management and compliance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Commercial Excellence, IT, Data Management and business teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience in root‑cause analysis and process improvement.
