Sales Associate

About the role

Wolt is looking for a Sales Associate to manage the full sales funnel, from first contact to closing deals and handing over new restaurant and retail partners to the onboarding team. You will work primarily by phone, targeting merchants across Slovenia, and receive training and coaching to develop your sales skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of leads and execute systematic outreach.
• Book and run meetings to acquire new restaurants and retail stores onto Wolt’s platform.
• Negotiate commercial terms and collect required documentation.
• Ensure seamless handover of signed partners to the merchant onboarding team.
• Support the sales team in improving methodologies and processes.

Required profile

• Strong charm, empathy and honesty to build relationships.
• Experience thriving in high‑performance, high‑expectation cultures.
• Proven track record of making sales and closing deals.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach to getting things done.
• Fluent and persuasive written and spoken communication in English and Slovenian.
• Entrepreneurial, innovative and good at solving problems.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing market.
• At least 2 years in partner operations or customer support and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Tech‑savvy, quick to learn new systems and troubleshoot basic issues.
